The INPERIO Project has been granted to Nanoker Research S.L. By the European Commission under the H2020-SMEInst-2018-2020-2 call. The EU-funded project started on the 1st May 2018 and will last 24 months. The estimated cost of the project is 2,709,751.25 €, required to industrialize and clinically validate a solution that has proved to avoid the consequences of periodontal and peri-implant disease at a competitive price.
Periodontitis
Periodontitis is inflammation of the gums and supporting structures of the teeth. It is one of the most common human diseases. Periodontitis is the leading cause of tooth loss.
Periimplantitis
In peri-implantitis, gum inflammation is found around the soft tissue and there is deterioration in the bone supporting the dental implant. Peri-implantitis usually requires surgical treatment.
